After nearly three years of battling an insurance claim, I’m incredibly grateful to the team at Chavin, Mitchell & Shmuely for getting it resolved fairly and professionally. They did a fantastic job presenting the case, including a clear and compelling PowerPoint that outlined the damage and repairs in a way that made everything easy to understand. Their expertise, persistence, and communication throughout the process were exceptional. Highly recommend them to anyone dealing with a tough or delayed insurance claim.

My husband and I were having a terrible time with our homeowners insurance after making a claim for damage sustained to our roof during a storm. We were nervous about the thought of litigating against them and the potential outcomes that could arise. Our insurance company dragged their feet and were able to benefit from all of the delays that came from the COVID pandemic. Mrs. Chavin and everyone at the CMS law firm were amazing. They eased all of our concerns and did a great job explaining the process to us novices. The team anticipated the actions that the insurance company would take in an effort to avoid payment and strategized a plan that led to a successful resolution. My 82-year-old mother recently had a small flood in the home due to a toilet failure. The estimate of damage was over $ 24,000.00. The Insurance Co offered $4500.00 and refused to pay a penny more. I hired a Public Adjuster who estimated the true cost to repair the water damage. The Issuance Company dragged their feet and ignored our request for a fair settlement. Our requests for a fair settlement went unanswered until the Law Firm of Chavin, Mitchell and Shmuel was hired. Within 72 Hours, a settlement was on the table, but was not adequate. The Law Firm immediately litigated on our behalf and settled the claim within hours. I could not have hoped for a better outcome. Thanks to the Law Firm of Chavin, Mitchell, and Shmuely for helping out the little guy and forcing the Insurance Company to do the right thing.
